Scroll-driven animations and BUBBLES

Hey folks,

August is the limbo-space of summer. It's STILL technically summer but everything is gearing up for the next academic season. Back-to-school lists, new schedules, and a whole new transportation schedule about to drop ... just ... not yet. But very soon.

CSS scroll-driven animation basics

I took a swing at some of the basics since this feature dropped in Chrome 115, and I have to say, I'm pretty impressed. There's a whole category of animation work that can be replaced by these. I haven't found a whole lot of use for the scroll-timeline as opposed to the view-timeline mode yet, but I'm sure, given time, we'll find some creative uses for it!

Pixi Scrolling Bubbles

Continuing on my exploration of Pixi.js I wound up creating something that now replaces the original 'Party' mode on my site. It's a little more simply stated that the blaring MIDI files I had going on...
