Project Logs and Screenreader Surveys
Hey folks,
Hope you've all had a fantastic weekend as we get ready to tuck into another week. Spring break is almost here! πΌπ³
Things I Wrote
I wrote about something I've been doing for myself for awhile now: Keeping Project Logs.
It's part dashboard, part memory bank, part professional development. I've tested public versions (which was of dubious value to anyone but me) and several different formats and arrived at something that I find truly helpful. And hey... maybe it'll help you too!
Interesting Web Bits
- Screenreader Survey Results. JAWS is still top dog on Desktop, with VoiceOver leading mobile. Navigating headings is still the primary way people using screenreaders navigate a page.
- In the smol web/weird web, Nekoweb is looking to recreate the ecletic personal web of the old Neocities/Geocities days.
- Inspiration: Newpeace manages to pack a lot of tasteful whimsy into their agency site.
- Epic (the agency, not the game studio...) talk about a fun little game they made for their contact page.
- Andy Bell talks about some of his uses of the :has() selector.
