Frontrunners and Bookmark Tetris
Hey friends,
We finally did it, a normal week of normal schedule with all the normal weekly events! I never thought that would feel like an achievement, but this is the first time it's happened for us in 2025! Here's to a not-normal 2025!
Conferences are back on the menu, friends! 👥
This month I'm speaking at Frontrunners, a JavaScript and Web Development conference held in Washington, DC area. If you're looking to nerd out on March 21, or happen to be in the area, there's a few days left to grab a ticket!

Web Stuff:
- Tyler Sticka shows us how to create faux containers with CSS grids.
- Tetris in a bookmark.
- The new Claude 3.7 Sonnet now has a 'thinking' mode where you can choose how long you want it to think (and improve the responses) before answering.
- IndieBlog.page allows you to explore the 'IndieWeb' one personal site at a time.
Other stuff:
- "If it's worth keeping, save it in Markdown"
- Heh, is it weird I think of the year in weeks and quarters as well?
- Mechanical cheese board 🧀
- Apparently walking it off is sort-of a real thing?
