Affogatos and Cognitive Load
Hey friends,
It's very easy to feel isolated as a remote employee, but last week I got to be a part of Viget's Fall TTT, where the whole company gathers together in one place.
Instead of talking to little boxes on my screen, I had face-to-face chats with coworkers, built a super effective egg dropping contraption (with a built in suspension rig), tried an affogato for the first time (highly recommend), and just spent time with people. I'm grateful for the opportunity to break out of my little remote bubble and try new things!
