Blogs, Undergrad Reunion and travel backkk! #004
As you are reading this, I am most probably on the way back to New Jersey - with a heavy heart but motivated to get back to work after this 25 day break.
I’ll miss Indian food the most (especially Vada Pav)

Undergraduate Reunion
Can’t believe its been 4 years I graduated from Vivekanand Educations Society’s Institute of Technology. I majored in Computer Engineering and had also spent last 1.5 yrs of my undergraduate degree with Distance Learning due to the pandemic.

Our university had organized an alumni meet and students from batched 1990-2024 showed up.
One of the batch members from 1990s said something which I wanted to share here “Write down your goals with a Pen and the strategy to achieve them with Pencil.”
Photo Circle
During my undergrad, I was also involved with a student organization called VESIT PhotoCircle, this was one of the major reasons for my current hobby - Photography

It was fun seeing the current members of the PhotoCircle continuing the work and tradition of covering all the possible events held on the campus
It was great to see a bunch of classmates, younger batch mates and senior batch mates.
Auto Land
I am writing this newsletter from my layover at Frankfurt airport. While landing at Frankfurt, the pilot made an announcement that due to hazy weather and cloud cover we’ll be doing an Auto Land.
I had seen a video of Auto Land being used a few years back but had never been in a situation where an announcement was made that it’ll be used.
The following is a small video explaining what Auto Land is and in what scenarios is it used.
Blogs (trying to get back to it)
I always had an aim to give back to the student community in the form of guiding them based on my past experiences as an international student. For this, I started writing a few blogs related to Resume Building, Job applications and many more topics. During the inception I replied on Notion and converted that document to a public webpage.
I realized that that wasn’t a great idea and switched to a markdown website in the past few months for most flexibility and customization.

It would be amazing if anyone would like to collaborate with me for this small project. Its open source on GitHub and anyone can open up a Pull Request and add information they feel is relevant or needs to be out there.
