Wow. A Lot of Action.

As Henrietta intimated the other day, it’s been quite the week. I had the absolute pleasure of traveling to Denver to hang out and see four concerts in three days with two very close friends,, whom you may know from his Coffee Nap post — he assures me that he’s got more posts on the way — and Bozo the Clown, who may have a post or three up his sleeve, as well as a good friend and former colleague who lives in Denver.

The only way I can describe this trip is by quoting Worm from Rounders: “Wow. Wow. A lot of action. A lot of action.” So much action, in fact, that there’s no way I could capture all of it in a single post.

See Rounders if you have not yet done so — it’s fantastic!

The trip included different types of naps (some by me, some by others), some of which we have not yet addressed here at TND:

  • cross-time-zone flex

  • out-of-town-guest naps

  • public naps at/between concerts

  • post-concert car naps

  • Dalí-esque naps at a concert

  • non-loss of consh naps

I plan to address these topics over the next few days and beyond. First up: my perfectly-timed/epic/guest/flex/mega couch nap.

The trip also raised a number of new topics to cover, including:

  • pre-overnight shift naps

  • standing naps

  • couples where one naps and the other doesn’t (particularly where the woman does and the man doesn’t in heterosexual relationships)

  • potentially negative health consequences of napping

Get excited — I know I am!
