Seven-day Nap Results

Inquiring minds want to know

Monday

We got off the plane at 6:15am, walked 20k steps all around the city, and finally our bodies gave out. We had a to take a reset nap in the afternoon. This was risky — too long of nap and we would not have been able to adjust properly to the new time zone. Fortunately, it played out well and we got the outcome desired: refreshed, but not at the expense of a proper sleep that night.

Tuesday and Wednesday

There were no naps, and at this point I began to wonder whether the vacation would just be too busy to accommodate naps. I was tired each day from the exertion and the time zone change. But the adrenaline of the experience, as well as the focus on seeing the sights and properly coordinating the logistics, seized the forefront of the agenda and sadly, no naps were consumed.

Thursday

Another busy day. Until about 3pm, I was convinced I was going to be on a three-day losing streak. Fortunately, we had a tour guide driving us and there was a light loss of consh for about 15 minutes between two attractions. Not ideal but obviously necessary.

Friday

Once again, this presented as a day where a nap wasn’t coming together. We did get to take a short break late in the afternoon. No loss of consh — so essentially 4 straight days at this point.

Bu what of the holy day of rest? TBC
