Nappin’ Ain’t Easy 1
Simple ain't easy
By now, our passion for napping is clear. We could easily write more than 250 words per day, but every time I do that, Matt either sends it back or cuts words. So we will split these next thoughts into several posts.
Grizzly Adams’ exceptional coffee nap post, where he doubts his ability to lose consh before it actually happens, and Matt’s own openness on his recent struggles to gain nap traction, make clear that napping is not as easy as one might think. In fact, one of the pieces of feedback we often receive when evangelizing napping is “I can’t nap.” These individuals find they can’t fall asleep midday for any amount of time, or if they can, their nap leaves them groggy and becomes a day ruiner, rather than a day restorer.

Tomorrow, we will take a short trip down the “I can’t fall asleep” issue, and follow up in the coming days with how to remedy this. We’ve already discussed (albeit in a more limited way than we will) tactics to remove the negative outcomes with a short slumber, including Dan Pink’s nappuccino and Salvador Dali’s slumber with a key technique, and are excited to dig in further.
