That's all, folks!

Hi! Sorry I didn't send an email out last week. I am not going to do this anymore because, well, I'm not really reading much fanfiction these days, I don't feel like anyone's even reading these emails, and recently I've mostly been getting recommendations for fanfiction/manga/anime/other forms of media (not just through my handy-dandy little form but also in other spaces) for things that have absolutely nothing in common with my personal tastes, which makes me feel like my interests, which I thought were clearly obvious to anyone who's ever interacted with me or read my posts/content, are in fact, not clearly communicated at all. Or maybe everyone is just ignoring what I like and dislike to share whatever they feel like sharing, and I just happen to end up on the other end of that untargeted zeal. Oh well.

It's been a good run. Or, it's been a fairly long run of useless nonsense I thought was fun to shout into the void to little response. And now I am tired. I thought it would be polite to end it properly, though, so here I am again.

But first, some things to listen to

I've been listening to Bravo a lot lately because I've figured out it's the Russian band that's most acceptable to play at work, and my coworkers have reported enjoying it. I described the band to them as "Soviet Rockabilly." This song always makes me wish I cared about Miya Atsumu because it's a very fanon-Atsumu kind of song. This song's very romantic and catchy. This one's also fun, I think.

I don't really have anything to read today. I opened up one of my marked for later fic tabs yesterday and then didn't even look at it because I was busy with other stuff. I have a future rec though: I'm going to be translating another fic by Arina stupidhanz (co-author of The Rules for Surviving in Jakarta, which I'd translated a few years back) starting next month! It's called How to Catch a Monster and it's a dark urban fantasy monster hunter thing set in Ireland. Scary!

I started reading an Azuki exclusive manga called Hikaru in the Light and it's somehow really absorbing. I caught up immediately and found myself seriously considering whether I should pay for premium to get the few locked chapters early. So I recommend that.

I didn't want to leave you with nothing, see. But I am leaving you.

Take care,

Masha Mozaikmage.
