A few weeks ago I linked to One Million Checkboxes. It got really big, was featured in NYT and had 650 million checks before it was turned off. Cool stuff! Anyway, here’s a great followup about how a bunch of teens got really creative.

Kyle's Pick

I will conclude my accidental trilogy of medieval picks this week with 2022’s The Northman. I saw it described on reddit as “Conan the Barbarian with a Masters degree in History on mushrooms” and I’m not sure I can top that. It’s a pretty straightforward revenge film with a heavy dose of mysticism (including cameos from Björk and Willem Dafoe). And like all good movies, it ends with a nude fight to the death in an active volcano.
