Gisnep a fun little daily word game by Ironic Sans. The backstory is interesting: the code was written with ChatGPT and Claude over months of arduous back and forth…this was a lot more complex than “make me a cool word game…” It’s a great case study of LLMs actually aiding a human in the creation of something real. I think the best part is that this project helped David learn a lot about game design (and maybe a little about programming.) Also, it’s a pretty fun game!

The Gisnep game logo and Mascot. It says "It's Gisnep! Word Game for the Culturally Curious" and has a happy moose, reminiscent of Steamboat Willey

As Playdate developers we are contractually obligated to shill for Teenage Engineering, designers of the Playdate hardware. That said, I love the whole vibe of their new Medieval synthesizer. Even some reviewers like B&H Photo are getting in on the fun.

I wonder if this device will take bardcore to strange new places.
