Mostly Bits Newsletter - Issue #104

Tony's Pick

I previously linked to Matt Levine’s Money Stuff newsletter at Bloomberg, which continues to be one of my favorite things to read every week. But it tend to be long and there are 3 or 4 per week. If that’s too much of a comittment, maybe the new Money Stuff Podcast might be up your alley. It’s just once a week and covers all the highlights. I’d say you miss out on Matt’s excellent writing, but it’s better than no Money Stuff at all.

Kyle's Pick

I woke up in the middle of the night last week and couldn’t get back to sleep. Coincidentally, a puzzle game I had my eye on called Chants of Sennaar was released on Game Pass that day, so I finally tried it out.

It’s fantastic! The game drops you into a world with an invented language that you have to decipher to communicate with the residents of a mysterious tower. You start off knowing nothing of the language and need to rely on context clues and deduction to piece it together. There are multiple levels to the tower, each with a different language to learn. And I loved the art style as well.
