Perth hospital apologises after young man's leg nearly amputated

A Navy recruit almost lost his leg after two Perth hospitals failed to properly diagnose and treat his emergency condition. The young man developed compartment syndrome but was sent home despite needing urgent surgery. The hospital has now issued an apology for the dangerous delays in care.
