Hello from your Poet Laureate!
I declared myself the Trans Poet Laureate of Portland in 2021, and since then I've been sadly not keeping up with my duties as specified. During the next few months I am going to be remedying that. Yes, this is purely a marketing email. COME WATCH ME READ!
First of all, the T4T Art Collective are hosting a series of events at the Paralax Art Center. A TON of great stuff is happening, including a Genderbomb performance, some concerts, and more specifically, a poetry reading and open mic. I've been asked to be a featured poet. It's Tuesday March 26th at 7-9 p.m. Here's a poster!
Another GREAT reading that is coming up is my friend Jasmine Pettet's Tell Tale series. I read at Tell Tale in February (part of my birthday week), and it was a fantastic time. The next tell tale is in April, and I'm going to make folks cry. It specifically focused on readings from Queer Folks over 30, the "elders" as it were. It's always a great show. Here's the poster.

Anyway, not a lot to share in the personal life. Writing a lot. Working a lot. But I'm really really grateful for all of you. Hope you are well.
