This Week in Coffee: Bean-free coffee launches & Singer Specht Collab,
I wanted to highlight two smaller stories this week in the lead-up to Christmas and New Year. Both are people who have started something different and something new - I hope you find them as inspriational as I do.
The Big Two
Prefer Bean-Free Coffee launches in First Locations
Link

Whilst I first properly met Jake through this newsletter, in fact, we have longstanding connections via the investor Entrepreneur First. One of my start-ups was invested in by EF who is now an investor in Prefer - cards on the table!
Prefer launched in five locations in SG this week and if anyone is local I would encourage them to click the link and visit one of the coffee shops. I can't comment on bean-free coffee in general but I'm keen to sample it as soon as it arrives in the UK (or I arrive in Singapore!).
I'd encourage anyone interested in bean-free coffee to reach out to Jake directly - especially if you run a coffee shop or distributor.
Specht show off their latest commission for Peter Singer

I just adore everything that Dan from Specht does and my personal life goal is to own a Singer Porsche. So, when they posted pictures of this collaboration it made my week.
The finished set was a Marzoccoo Linear Mini and a Weber "The Key" both in the famous Porsche Gulf Livery made famous by classic Singer Restorations. There are custom CNCed aluminum panels on the side which I think are an homage to the rear air outlets on the 911 - regardless they're a lovely novel touch alongside the fuchs wheel icons on the knobs.
