paraluman #52

things matter because they end

As I got to the final stretch of paraluman, I knew I had to be the final subject and I knew it had to be a selfie and it had to have text covering my eyes. Lots of animals. Lots of construction. Lots of landmark. Lots of different things. Not a lot of humans, at least intentionally. But I figured I had to put my whole self into the project. And there’s something poetic about ending the project on Halloween by posting a picture of myself still masked by something (in this case, text).

Thus concludes this project derived from free energy and wanting to see how much inspiration I could draw from the world. It was a good exercise, but it has served it’s purpose.
