Fun fact: the mailbox was fixed within a couple days.

Less fun fact: the last time a mailbox was broken it was mine and it took several weeks to figure out the exact story behind it, but it all worked out, although it’s weird insofar as a broken mailbox is usually something you only see in the movies.
