The other night at an event for my full time job, another artist asked me how many days a week I work. "I'm full time," I said. I was worried I might've given him an aneurysm. What kind of artist can afford not to work all of the time these days? IDK rich ppl I guess.
I recently saw a bunch of pigeons flocking outside my bathroom window. I had seen a hawk on the hunt on my way home a few minutes earlier. I won't anthropomorphize either bird, but something to be said about A. safety and power in numbers and B. the impact an individual can have on a group.
I called out some rich people who were abusing their power this week. I didn't shake much during, but I went to the park after and cried a little in front of a hairy woodpecker. That's a real bird name, not a euphemism. Anyway, nature heals.
What does this have to do with my little meme show? My little meme show in which I talk about the literally thousands of little memes I've made over the past few years? My little meme show that is being funding by the Franklin Furnace FUND and being produced at the Exponential Festival? Idk. But I will be talking a lot and sharing and I hope you will join.
