LinkedIn found out yesterday. Premium knew in July.

Yesterday, Matt Clark announced on LinkedIn that he officially accepted the role of Assistant Director for Research, Development, and Acquisition and Component Acquisition Executive at the Defense Health Agency. Effective end of month. The congratulations thread is still growing.

Here is the part that matters for you.

On July 9, I sent MMT Premium subscribers an issue titled "The DHA acquisition chief seat is no longer Acting." The confirmed name went on the Premium DHA org chart that day, mapped against the PAE consolidation. Premium readers have spent the last eight weeks knowing who holds final acquisition decision authority at DHA while everyone else called the seat provisional.

Eight weeks is a capture cycle. It is the difference between building a relationship before the announcement and joining the congratulations thread after it.

And the announcement itself is a roadmap. Clark's stated objective is "DELIVER Care": decisive effects through excellence, lethality, integration, velocity, and enterprise partnerships. He says speed is essential and his teams share failures openly. If you sell into DHA, that paragraph should change how you write your next white paper.

This is what MMT Premium is: the org chart, the seat-by-seat placement intel, and the leadership moves before they hit your feed.
