Minimalissimo Weekly Edit
Minimalissimo in Design
Hello. I hope you’ve had a good week. We soft launched our new collection of 3D models this week, which is pretty exciting. The concept behind this project is not to make consumers’ lives easier, but to take control and change buying habits. It might be something that you initially experiment with, but the hope is that in 5, 10, or even 20 years time, we will all be printing our own objects rather than supporting overproduction. I wrote a blog about the project, which you’re welcome to read.
For all projects we’re working on, you can see updates in our Sync, which you’ll get access to by becoming a member.
Our features over the past week include a visit Calabria in Italy to admire a minimalist dwelling that blends superbly with its natural surroundings. We celebrate the work of Konstantin Grcic and his design of the impeccable Primo chair. And in our featured mood we showcase artistic monochromatic minimalism in the form of Francesco De Prezzo’s paintings. Have a read, take it slow, and enjoy your Sunday.

Features
Primo
Created by Konstantin Grcic for renowned Italian furniture brand, Mattiazzi, Primo exemplifies the archetypal chair. Its design comprises only the most essential elements: four legs, seat, and backrest. The strictly vertical orientation of its legs gives the chair a strong architectural presence.
Villa RA
A dwelling with a facade that matches the colour of the earth beneath it sits in the picturesque landscape of Calabria, Italy. There are few places as scenic as Calabria; Villa RA by Morq Architecture draws from nature to capture the beauty of the surroundings into one truly spectacular dwelling.
