Minimalissimo Weekly Edit
Minimalissimo in Design
Hello. I hope you've had a good week. You may or may not be aware that Twitter is rolling out a Communities pilot at the moment. So we thought we'd get involved and apply to create one focused on minimalism in design (naturally). Well, it was accepted and the community is now up and running. I think it's going to be very easy to grow on a platform like Twitter, but I am keen to keep the numbers pretty small. If a community grows too much, it ceases being a community. So what are we going to talk about? It's difficult to say at this stage, but we can share and discuss past, present, and future designs and concepts. To celebrate the work of others, and use the community to request feedback on work of our own. But it also doesn't need to be too serious or intellectual. Like with any community, it's impossible to know how successful it's going to be or even what success might look like. I certainly won't be comparing it to any other Twitter communities. I simply hope there's some decent discussions and good vibes. If you are interested in joining the Minimalism in Design community, get in touch.
Our recent features include a mix of furniture, architecture, interior, and futuristic design. We introduce a highly versatile and equally stylish table system by German studio JBNG, and we visit Moscow to admire a beautifully balanced and light interior design. In our featured mood we wonder about the next steps of humankind. Have a read, take it slow, and enjoy your Sunday.
