Minimalissimo Weekly Edit
Minimalissimo in Design
Hello. I hope you've had a good week. How is Autumn treating you so far? Being in the UK, the light evenings are slowly becoming a thing of the past. I can't say I'm looking forward to the winter season. Not that I dislike the cold. I actually enjoy cold temperatures, it's simply the lack of natural light that affects me.
Anyway, the artwork for our book is underway and it's already looking great. We are going to share a work in progress update with our members next week. Besides that, we added a gorgeous new book to our shop this week by one of our favourite design studios, Nendo.
Our features over the past week include a visit the Swiss village of Teufenthal to admire a remarkable residential structure by Gautschi Lenzin Schenker. We also celebrate a wonderful interior design concept that takes us back to the 80s with a Bond vibe courtesy of Alexey Gulesha. And in our featured mood, we pay tribute to one man's obsession with space and NASA's achievements. Have a read, take it slow, and enjoy your Sunday.

Features
Multigenerational House
Gautschi Lenzin Schenker's Multigenerational House in Teufenthal is a family home is a monolithic volume that generates a landmark for the village. The surrounding buildings all represent a different style and appearance, therefore this design lays the ground to go for an independent language of architecture.
Beach Hotel in Odessa
Sivak+Partners’s vision of a boutique beach hotel room in Odessa, Ukraine. Inspired by James Bond films from the 1980s, the interior has a cinematic atmosphere with a slight futurist undertone—communicated via a minimalist design language.
