Minimalissimo Weekly Edit

Minimalissimo in Design

Hello. I hope you’ve had a good week. We updated our members area with a sync of our co-creation projects. One of which is with Oda where we will be making a minimal backpack. There’s not a strict deadline with this project, but I think it’s likely to be ready at the beginning of the new year. We’re also slowly moving forward with the new Minimalissimo photo book. We have decided that we’re going to take pre-orders for this starting from January. Super excited about that one. Besides this, we have come up with a very interesting product idea for 2021. I’ll give you a clue: it’s an app. Updates on that project will come in the new year as well.

Our features over the past week include a look at Keiji Ashizawa’s simple and elegant design of the Hishaku table and floor lamp. We take a virtual visit around the Muskoka lakes in Canada to celebrate the beautiful black design of a boathouse by Akb Architects. And in our featured mood, it’s all about autumn in a glass with a little bit of artistry. Have a read, take it slow, and enjoy your Sunday.
