Minimalissimo Weekly Edit
Minimalissimo in Design
Hello. I hope you've had a good week and a good month. Summer is upon us. I'm excited. Spent some time this week organising upcoming projects and site features that we'll be turning our focus to in the coming weeks. As much as I love collaborative projects, one of the challenges is aligning schedules with those involved. But if you work with good people then patience pays off in the long run.
For all projects we're working on, you can see updates in our Sync, which you'll get access to by becoming a member.
Our features over the past week include a Kazunori Fujimoto architectural masterpiece. Along with Tadao Ando, there really isn't anyone else who delivers residential brutalism quite like Kazunori. We also visit Victoria, Australia to celebrate another elegant project by Adam Kane Architects, and in our featured mood we take a bit of time for a homemade espresso. Have a read, take it slow, and enjoy your Sunday.

Features
House in Akitsu
Kazunori Fujimoto creates minimalist sanctuaries. Dwellings that appear private and monolithic, yet welcome an abundance of wonderfully framed light and nature through over-sized windows. One such dwelling is House in Akitsu. Located on a small peninsula, the project site faces directly towards the beautiful scenery of the Seto Inland Sea.
Barwon Heads House
Sheets of white curtains flutter against the glass panels, bringing in the quiet air of Barwon Heads and giving peeks of the coastal sun rays. The opaque light shines onto gleaming stone surfaces, reflecting geometric corners of the cottage home, designed by Adam Kane Architects.

Loehr Collection
Reduced to the essentials, Loehr reveal the radical nature in the detail of each design, challenging senses and perception. Exclusively designed and made in Germany with high-quality standards, under fair and safe working conditions and with environmental awareness, Loehr’s approach to modern sustainability is another reason to appreciate their craft.
