Minimalissimo Weekly Edit
Letter Nº21
Hello. I hope you’ve had a good week. Outside of the features we published this week, I’ve been focusing a lot on that membership concept I spoke about last week. Trying to figure out what would be the best incentive for you to support us. Obviously, I would hope it would simply be the content we produce, but I also appreciate the value in exclusivity and reward. I have pretty much nailed down the initial outline, but this will definitely be a work in progress. Better yet, why don’t you tell me what you would value most in a Minimalissimo membership? Exclusive content? Downloadable materials? Community engagement through video, calls, or chat? Let me know your thoughts. I’d love to hear your thoughts.
Our features over the past week include a visit to a Canadian forest to admire the simple architecture of Poisson Blanc, we celebrate geometric design with a beautiful lamp series by Pedro Sottomayor, and find a sense of escapism in this week’s featured mood where we explore some of our favourite minimalist huts. Have a read, take it slow, and enjoy your Sunday.

Features
Poisson Blanc
Designed by _naturehumaine and situated in Laurentides, Canada, the minimal Poisson Blanc cottage (or chalet if you prefer) sits within a rugged topography, anchored against the sloping terrain. It is an exercise in simple architecture that explores the purity of the basic geometry.
BULB Series
The BULB series, designed by Pedro Sottomayor, is a family of four hand blown glass lamps inspired by the simplicity of pure geometric shapes: cone, cylinder, sphere, and hemisphere. They can be used singularly for a functional statement or in sets or groups to create a warmer ambient.
House in a Park
Across the verdant parkland, an array of cubic volumes creates an urban landscape. Their offset facades of grey stones overlook Lake Zurich, dotted with gatherings of birches and pines from the forest nearby. The temperate climate surrounds these volumes with tranquil mistiness and melancholic tunes. This minimalist project is House in a Park by Think Architecture.
