Minimalissimo Weekly Edit
Minimalissimo in Design
Hello. I hope you've had a good week. I wish I had some meaningful updates for you today, but the truth is some projects and ideas take time to simmer, so until I have something a little more concrete to share with you, I'll hold back. Looking forward to the new week though. We've got an interesting round of designs to share with you and a couple of cool interviews in the works that will be published over the next few weeks.
For all projects we're working on, you can see updates in our Sync, which you'll get access to by becoming a member.
Our features over the past week include a touch of art and architecture featuring a beautiful digital series consisting of light and shadow manipulation, a moody solitary cabin, and a wonderful monochromatic interior design project by Gonzalez Haase AAS. Have a read, take it slow, and enjoy your Sunday.
— Carl Barenbrug, Creative Director
Features
Mask House
There is a lot to be said for living a life of solitude. More so momentarily rather than indefinitely, but maybe it depends how and where you spend that time. WOJR designed a tree-house-like cabin for contemplation, separation, and protection for a man who lost his brother.
Bureau Borsche Office
The new office of graphic design studio Bureau Borsche in Munich is a complete contrast to their prominent portfolio. While the latter is an immense universe of diverse forms, colours, textures, and patterns, the former—designed by Gonzalez Haase AAS—is a monochromatic starkness of ice grey aluminium and atmospheric white light.
