Minimalissimo Weekly Edit
Minimalissimo in Design
Hello. I hope you’ve had a good week. I suppose many of us are beginning to draw our working year to a close. Some of us will continue creating through the holidays, and some of us will be counting the days for an opportunity to be back at work after such a disruptive and volatile year. I think we are all looking forward to more positive times though, which I am confident will come. There’s a bunch of things we have planned for 2021, the first of which will be our next printed publication. I have been quite relaxed about the timeline for this, trying not to put any unnecessary pressure on myself and the team, but I am hoping we can get this book ready for February.
Besides that, I am expecting delivery of the 100–0 diptych paintings next week. That set will be an artist’s proof, as the other 30 have been numbered and signed, pretty much ready to go. I’ll look at getting this set framed and photographed, then gather materials to provide a full insight into the making of them, which I think is really important for you to see to truly appreciate the work gone into these paintings. Excited to share more soon.
For all other projects we’re working on, you can see updates in our Sync, which you’ll get access to by becoming a member.
Our features over the past week include an ode to coffee and tea brewing on the go with Osma, as well as an ode to silence with Sound-Aesthetics in our featured mood. We also visit Puurs in Belgium to celebrate the remarkable architecture of Vincent Van Duysen and the autumn vibes of Winery Valke Vleug. Have a read, take it slow, and enjoy your Sunday.

Beosound Edge
When London-based industrial designer Michael Anastassiades and audio brand Bang & Olufsen decided to collaborate on a new product, we knew it would be pretty special. Well, as it turns out, it is. Beautifully so. The Beosound Edge is a speaker and minimalist design object in one.
