Minimalissimo Weekly Edit
Minimalissimo in Design
Hello. I hope you've had a good week. I'm delighted to share that we have now released our collection of phone wallpapers titled SLM 613. This is a collaborative project between Minimalissimo and Studio Lenzing and includes a selection of light and dark wallpapers and backgrounds made specifically for both lock and home screens with a minimal design language. There are 12 wallpapers in the collection available for you to download. This was a fun project to work on and I think the quality of the designs are clear to see. Download, simplify, and if you like, share your screens with us sporting your new wall. We might even share some on social media.
Note: If you're a Minimalissimo member, you can download these for free. Any issues downloading, just get in touch.
Our features over the past week include a visit to the beautiful Bruny Island in Tasmania to admire a remarkably minimal cabin designed by Maguire + Devine Archietcts. We celebrate the versatility of an elegant free-standing mirror by the name of Elli, and in our featured mood we celebrate the humble toaster, selecting a few of our favourite designs. Have a read, take it slow, and enjoy your Sunday.

Features
Elli Mirror
Elli is a simple mirror design by Calen Knauf and Conrad Brown consisting of two halves; an oval swivel mirror and a storage dish. Made for From the Bay, the mirror is set within a metal frame which serves as a buffer so that the hand adjusting the mirror avoids smudging the mirror.
Bruny Island Hideaway
Taking minimal design to its extreme, Bruny Island Hideaway is a cabin equipped with only the necessities, and nearly 100% built-in furniture. Stylish in its quiet simplicity, the dwelling brings a touch of traditional Japanese design to Australia.

Sushi Isono
Sushi Isono is a graceful encounter due to its careful attention to one's experiential levels: from an individual to the public, from an acquaintance to another, and from one to the culinary conductor. The common denominator lies in the food itself, and the elegant minimalist interior that Jun Igarashi Architects has produced is the agent in delivering those complex degrees of experiences.
