Minimalissimo Weekly Edit
Minimalissimo in Design
Hello. I hope you've had a good week. The last week of a frankly shite year. At least for most of us. With that said, I'm grateful that we still managed to publish beautiful minimal design daily, make a handful of awesome products, engage in some interesting conversations, and even start a membership. The fact that a small number of you decided to support us when you yourself are experiencing challenges brought on by Covid, means an incredible amount to me. I appreciate you, along with everyone else who simply stops by to read our site. I also want to thank those companies who have and continue to sponsor Minimalissimo.
So where do we go from here? Well, we have much to share and much to make. We have an exciting year ahead of us. Lots of design to inspire, interviews to consume, collaborations to evolve, and experiments to explore. Here's to a better, healthier, and simpler year.
For all other projects we're working on, you can see updates in our Sync, which you'll get access to by becoming a member.
Our features over the past week include one of the simplest and pared down lounge chairs we have seen in a long time, designed by Daniel Schofield. We visit Toronto to step inside the serene space of Edition to admire an impressive curation of cannabis. And in our featured mood, we pay homage to transparent design at the hands of Norm Architects and Afteroom. Have a read, take it slow, and enjoy your Sunday.

Features
Allay Chair
Setting out to design the archetypal lounge chair, reducing it down to as few lines as possible, British industrial designer Daniel Schofield recently unveiled the Allay chair for Portuguese design brand, MOR.
Edition Dispensary
The increasing demand for marijuana dispensaries gave way to new perspectives with experimental concepts such as Edition, "the curator of cannabis". Based in Toronto, Edition aims to focus on the community's high-experience showcasing their range of natural products in a beautifully minimal interior design by StudioAC.
