Minimalissimo Weekly Edit
Minimalissimo in Design
Hello. I hope you’ve had a good week. First, a quick update on our new print book: we have finalised our short-list of features to publish and we have just started the design phase for the pages. Curation is challenging, because ultimately, it is very subjective, but I am confident that this book is something you will really appreciate for years to come—from the projects featured to the art direction.
Second, we have been working on our online shop, and I am excited to say we have a few new beautiful publications available. One of which is a book I have been looking forward to for some time: Dieter Rams: The Complete Works
It is currently available for pre-order, but ships at the end of October.
Our features over the past week include Carlos Ferrater’s super clean CF Lamp for OAB. We visit Heubach in Germany to admire the spacious and serene interior of a loft apartment designed by Kaestle & Ocker. And in our featured mood, we showcase an architectural project that has a real Bauhaus vibe to it. Have a read, take it slow, and enjoy your Sunday.

Features
CF Lamp
The CF Lamp, designed by Carlos Ferrater, takes advantage of the reflection of the material itself and integrates the luminaire, reflector, and technology into a single line. Therefore, it looks to solve old problems regarding table lighting.
Loft Apartment
Spanning the top floor of a warehouse in Germany, the spacious Loft Apartment turned a timber-trussed loft into an elegant minimalist home. The dwelling includes a floating mid-century fireplace, a luxurious spa-like bathroom, and stunning floor-to-ceiling windows that overlook the Swabian Alps.
From the Archive
Melt Coffee Table
Oito Studio’s Melt Coffee Table is a play on balance and a questioning of absolute necessity. The design of this beautifully engineered and crafted piece is born from a play on stripping back all elements to the minimum. Crafted from aluminium, the materiality also matches the lightness and transportability of its inception.
