Minimalissimo Weekly Edit
Minimalissimo in Design
Hello. I hope you’ve had a good week. We have been working on finalising printing details for the Selection book. We are really eager to make the material of this as high quality as we can without making the book extortionate in price. It really is going to be a beautiful return to print for us. And I was recently reminded of this quote of Aldo Gucci: “Quality is remembered long after the price is forgotten.” We are still on course to go to print in June and I’m looking for some international retailers who might be interested in stocking the book. If that’s you, please get in touch.
For all projects we’re working on, you can see updates in our Sync, which you’ll get access to by becoming a member.
Our features over the past week include a mix of Japanese architecture, homeware product design, and a celebration of retro gaming consoles reimagined. Have a read, take it slow, and enjoy your Sunday.

Features
±0 Cordless Vacuum Cleaner
Japanese designer Sosuke Nakabo’s award-winning design of the cordless vacuum cleaner, C030 for ±0. The extremely easy handling of the previous model remains, while functional improvements have been made with everything else—including the feel of the floor nozzle steering and the garbage extraction mechanism—making for a completely new product design.
House of the Sacred Rock
The Kyoto Prefecture is covered with lush forests and vegetation across its region, complemented by the presence of traditional residential houses and religious institutions. Located near the notable landmarks Yamazumi Shrine and Mount Hiei, House of the Sacred Rock was designed to encapsulate their image and establish a spiritual connection.
