Minimalissimo Weekly Edit
Minimalissimo in Design
Hello. I hope you’ve had a good week. There’s not a lot to update you on today. We are still in the process of preparing the book for shipment. Here’s a little look behind the scenes of our thread sewn binding, which looks awesome.
For all projects we’re working on, you can see updates in our Sync, which you’ll get access to by becoming a member.
Our features over the past week include fine examples of Japanese and Swiss architecture as we visit a couple of beautiful homes with different approaches to minimalism. In our featured mood we celebrate the sculptural and aesthetic form of Marc Newson’s extruded marble chair. Have a read, take it slow, and enjoy your Sunday.

Features
Courthouse of Kawachinagano
Located in Osaka Prefecture and designed by Fujiwaramuro Architects, Courthouse of Kawachinagano is a private residence that also offers the pleasure of watching the seasons change from many different places and in many different kinds of light.
House P5
House P5 designed by architect Javier Müller appears, at first, to strictly follow the maxim ‘form follows function’. Yet, beneath its minimalist veneer is a design that is dramatic and artful—if you look close enough.

Pump Table Lamp
The Pump table lamp was designed by KUTARQ Studio for the furniture design brand Woud. A simple yet attractive design allows the Pump lamp to become a statement of ambiance. The whole design was inspired by hot air balloons and the idea of a luminaire lifting off the ground. The main effect of the balloon is the effect of it floating in the air.
