Minimalissimo Weekly Edit
Letter Nº10
Hello. We’re 10 weeks into this newsletter and I hope you’re enjoying it so far. The subscription numbers aren’t decreasing, so that’s all the analytics I care about for now. The format is simple and hopefully easy for you to consume. Feedback is always welcome though and you know where to find me.
I recently did an interview with Michael Warren of Designed Space and invited him into my home to discuss 10 years of Minimalissimo among other things. It was fun to be part of. Please check it out if you’re interested.
Our features over the past week included a conversation with British lighting and furniture designer Terence Woodgate. Apparently he’s done over 1,200 sky dives. Amazing. We visited Prahran in Australia to admire the incredible interior design of Highbury Grove designed by Gilad Ritz, and we curated an ode to the late, great Japanese industrial designer Sori Yanagi—maker of the iconic Butterfly Stool. Have a read, take it slow, and enjoy your Sunday.

“For me, minimalism/modernism has a great chance of being timeless. Something that is pure and simple, that does not rely on decoration has a better chance of longevity.”
Features
Highbury Grove
There is something so personal and unique that occurs when a home is designed by the occupant. This is the case with Highbury Grove—a residence designed by Gilad Ritz of Ritz & Ghougassian. Ritz designed both the architecture and interiors, culminating in an expressive dwelling that is not afraid to break the rules of what a home should look like.
