Minimalissimo Weekly Edit
Letter Nº5
This week I was thinking about print and digital products. Specifically deciding when to opt for one over the other. We are predominantly a digital magazine, but we do dabble in print from time to time. We have printed three coffee table mags and I’m still considering whether or not to produce a fourth. However, one print project that is almost ready is our exciting collaboration with the incredible graphic design consultancy, Berger & Föhr. We have designed two screen prints measuring 22x30”. Together they gradated from 100% black to 0% black. We’re only printing 30 each, so it’s a very limited print run. Designed to be bought as a pair, but can be bought individually as well. We’re hoping to have this available for order within the next few weeks.
I’ll share a private shop link here first, before announcing it anywhere else, so you can have the opportunity to get in before others. We have to make these newsletters worthwhile, right? So here’s a preview:

YOY
“Nowadays, design is often defined as something that solves people’s problems. But we would like to show an aspect of design that is not just about ease of use and functionality.”
Features
RW Concrete Church
NAMELESS Architecture’s striking RW Concrete Church stands amidst a newly developed district in Byeollae, South Korea, in grey, intersecting volumes, an imposing presence in the summer, yet homogenises to the landscape of a city known for its picturesque winters.
House in Takamatsu
Designed by Japanese firm Fujiwaramuro Architects, House in Takamatsu features a ribbon-like facade with thin stripes of openings. Surrounded by traditional houses in the neighbourhood, the facades act like an armour that protects preserved peace and tranquility on the inside.
