Minimalissimo Weekly Edit
Letter Nº14
Hello. I hope you're coping as well as can be expected in this surreal time. Above all, I hope you're healthy. You know, there's an interesting quote from The Minimalists that says:
"Constantly searching for breaking news will break you."
I think it's super important that we don't entirely immerse ourselves in this crisis. Instead try to find pockets of normality. Create a new routine. Create something. Keep your mind and body as healthy as you can.
Our features over the past week included an interview with one of my design heroes, Naoto Fukasawa. It was such a pleasure to speak to him and certainly marks a proud moment for this magazine. We visited Ukraine to admire the masterful monochrome interior of Green Hills House, and we showcased the exceptionally well-designed White Stripe lamp by German studio Relvãokellermann. We also set the mood with a quiet retreat to the countryside. I think we could all do with a dose of that at the moment. Have a read, take it slow, and enjoy your Sunday.
