Minimalissimo Weekly Edit
Letter Nº2
It’s 2020! What just happened? I don’t know about you, but years seem to be getting shorter and shorter. All the more reason to embrace slow living and enjoy the present and that which surrounds us. Anyway, we’re two newsletters in and all seems well, and off the back of our new site launch, I have a renewed enthusiasm for where we’re going. I’m hyped about some upcoming interviews we’ll be publishing over the next couple of months. We‘re trying to stick to one interview per week, which can be tough to manage, but I’m determined to keep this structure as consistent as possible. I hope you’re also enjoying our new moods that we’ve started publishing. It’s a lot of fun curating those, but even more so when we create them entirely ourselves.
Another thing I’d like to update you on is our team. We’ve recently made some small changes and welcomed Brett Torrey Haynes and Andres Jasso. Brett will be focusing primarily on interviews and Andres on moods.
So here’s to a year of simple living, good health, creativity, and fulfilment.

“I think design should be friendly and that’s why I sometimes add a little humour or something akin to a ‘spice’ to my designs. It makes them more accessible to people.”
Features
House in Lamego
House in Lamego is oriented like a V, with the opening facing the landscape. With this layout the structure maximises views while taking advantage of southern sun exposure. Following this ideology, nearly all of the occupiable spaces in the home provide a glimpse of the mountainous landscape.
Thin-K Longo Table
There comes a time to pay homage to the minimalist table; when timeless design meets everlasting function. We take a closer look at the super slim (6mm) outdoor table designed by Luciano Bertoncini for Kristalia.
