Hello Readers,

It’s the new and improved Semiurge! A shift in priorities, projects, and overall goals has led me to decide to change the name and subscription page. The newsletter should be more focused from now on, with a more achievable scope content.

The umbrella project is now Minds of Clay. Projects like media criticism will be moving to an audio-visual medium, while other types of essays and fiction writing will remain here. Sovereign will be arriving from a new email address, but one that will be routed through the same service, so you should receive it just fine. This is just a heads up. We’re going through a period of professionalization, one might call it, cleaning things up and trying to fit material to format better.

Anyone who visits the archive may see that the excerpt from “Revolting Youth” is no longer available. It will be continued, but also changed. Ultimately, some of its ideas felt better suited to Sovereign. It is being retooled, but they are both still planned as part of the Meta-Morphoses cycle. What exactly that means will be made more clear in the coming months as more stories come out.
