Private Equity by Carrie Sun is precisely the type of memoir I love ~ one that tells the author’s story but also examines American society and questions our culture and its bondage to race and class and wealth disparity. This book delves into the lives of billionaires and while this world is one I despair of, I feel as I (we) need to understand that stratosphere to understand how the wealth divide can ever possibly be closed. This book just released earlier this month and was a fascinating read.
