Sometimes I read books that are so personally powerful that I just can’t help but share about them in isolation and immediately. Today’s newsletter is about one of those books.
I have to preface this by saying I’m a critical consumer of Kristin Hannah’s work and have loved some of her historical fiction stories and wanted to throw at least one of them out the window. That’s why I was cautiously excited about this week’s release of The Women. I received an early digital review copy of it, but waited until after release day because I found out that Julia Whelan would be the audio narrator ~ I knew she would make the listening experience worth it regardless of my opinion on the story itself.
