Some Links to Tide You Over
a perfect weekend, I'm OoO on Saturday, and LINKS!

Well hello there, it’s Tuesday again!
And I had a glorious weekend of sewing, hiking, and adventuring with my husband and daughter, talking on the phone with my mom, lunch prepping and sunshine-y walks, and trying to decipher with my siblings whether or not we can obtain Canadian citizenship under the new rules.
I skipped my sewing class on Saturday to explore a state park but finished the pants anyway, made enough lunches for the freezer so I’m set for next week too, allowing for one less thing to think about next Sunday, got all the family news from my mom that I had missed out on lately ~ is there anything better than a long gossipy phone call???
All that to say, I lived my life over the weekend exactly the way I dream of living it on a lesser weekend ~ curiosity and chatter and nature and exploring and creativity and memory-making and waking on my own terms and very little screen time.
My girls and I will be heading out on a musical getaway in a few days and I have the itinerary, lodging, concert tickets and parking set for us, plan to pack the night before, and what will be, will be. That means no newsletter on Saturday because travel = no laptop.
I didn’t rush to prepare this Saturday’s newsletter ahead of time for you because if you’re living the way I am living, you understand that less is more, that it’s better to wait for the good stuff than have filler in the meantime, and any obligatory screen time that takes away from living life is not worth it.
I do have a few links for you, however, that should tide you over ~ and I’ll be back next Tuesday!
