New job, old me! Heading back to the school library

Job changes. I’ve made oh so many in my professional career, but none were as drastic and jarring as moving from the elementary library to teaching high school business and marketing in January 2022. With one working day notice. And getting COVID on my 2nd day in the new job.

Let’s back up though! No job change was as panic-driven and urgent and life-disrupting as my switch of library jobs in August 2020, from my longtime position of district librarian to a larger district as an elementary librarian.
