Hello readers!
My year-end reading was a bit different this year ~ I fit in several more Christmas reads, but only one good one, read lots of February and March releases, and I did a lot less reading over my holiday break than I normally do. I was out and about more often, traveled one weekend, and I watched quite a few movies! My husband and I revisited Elf and National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation and A Christmas Story with the youngest and went to the theater to see Wonka with her on Christmas Eve, which we all ended up enjoying. On Christmas Day the entire family watched Gran Turismo, which was a Christmas present for one of the teens. He had already watched it in the theater but none of the rest of us had seen it ~ we LOVED it! I know nothing about car racing, but this was such a feel good (true!) story. The girls and I also rewatched the original Mean Girls in anticipation of the reboot being in theaters this month ~ we’ll be attending for sure!
All that to say I’m pushing my Recent Reads newsletter to next week because I wanted to have a larger selection of “available now” titles to share. Don’t worry though, there are still books today!
