Hello supporters! I inhaled this recent nonfiction release earlier this summer and knew I had to tell you all about it since it’s about one of my very favorite things ~ PUPS! And remember, all weekday newsletters are available in full for paid subscribers (now 20% off!) ~ thank you for valuing and supporting my work here ♡
Longtime readers here know that I truly adore my three motley canine family members ~ Max, Booker, and Ozzie. Max is a border collie, Booker is a doggy dog (like a shoppy shop!) with a mix of many things but predominantly lab and Great Pyrenese, and Ozzie is supposedly a border collie, but I can assure you that he also has some blue heeler and perhaps other types of ancestors as well. Max was rehomed at age 1ish from an ad on Craiglist, Booker was a rescue at 6 months old from a kill shelter in Texas that a Wisconsin rescue organization works with, and Ozzie was a brand new farm puppy we found out about from a local vet. They are delightfully quirky and hairy and somewhat poorly mannered. I walk them all together on a waist leash and they oftentimes endanger my life, they all sleep on furniture and make me go through a new vacuum cleaner per year, and they completely dictate my schedule. And I L.O.V.E. them.
