Well hello there, happy Tuesday!

Over the past week I have really been reflecting on my desire while sewing to deviate from patterns and instructions, sometimes because I think I know better and sometimes because I truly just want to see what will happen. As a parent and educator, this can be frustrating to watch with kids ~ why won’t they just follow the directions? It’s so much easier and they’ll get the desired result!

But, my friends, the reality is what we all know to be true:

Mistakes are where the learning happens.
