Reading friends, I had to go easy with the newsletter this week. This entire week was full of inservice, open house, soccer, more soccer and the first day of school. Oh, and not to mention reorganizing a huge portion of my library! So, today is going to be short and sweet in the name of sanity and rest.
We shall see how things will evolve here as I ease into this new job and my first year as a varsity soccer mom (the nights are SO LATE for me - I was a huge fan of those 5:00 JV games and weekend morning rec games - but I don’t want to miss a minute) and having a 6th grader in drama AND choir AND band and a senior doing all the college search / life angst things!
I reached yet another journaling milestone yesterday ~ another full journal! I’m now moving onto journal #3 after journaling one page daily since December 1, 2022. That’s 9 months ~ my journaling habit has fully gestated! I’m proud of myself. If you’re curious, here are the journals I use. They’re just notebooks, but I have grown attached to the exact size and the dependability of the line spacing, amount of writing needed to fill up a page, etc. And I am very reliant on a fresh Flair pen. That’s it. Those are my fancy journaling supplies!
