Ummmmm, where did June go? I can’t comprehend how it’s over already, but I sure did enjoy it! I had this idea that I would write an entire newsletter all about our camping trip to Madeline Island, but when I started to do so, it just didn’t feel right ~ instead I wrote little snippets and shared pictures on Notes, so please do check each of these out if you are interested in the trip!

Also, I discovered a new podcast this week that ties in perfectly with the beast of a nonfiction book I am reading right now (and may finish sometime???) ~ Field Trip from The Washington Post. I mean, at least the first episode and its focus on the US stealing land from Native Americans for National Parks ties in perfectly with the beginning of Palo Alto and the story of the horrific way America invaded what is now known as California and stole land and displaced, enslaved, and murdered its inhabitants. Just a little light content for you? Sorry, but not really, because the more you know………
