From the Mindful Library Vol. 11

Well, it’s official ~ my summer has arrived and I shall now be working from my summer office for the next 3 months. aka my back porch, and only when I feel like it. YAY!

I kicked off the summer vibes with some half days at work this week, along with an incredibly fun Learn to Play Pickleball class with a friend on Wednesday evening, and my annual welcome-to-summer outdoor concert with friends on Thursday night. Brene Brown introduced me to the apparent joys of pickleball on her podcast during early COVID-times, and then Jo Piazza convinced me last month that it’s something cool middle aged moms really must do. I may never understand the scoring, but I’m excited to play more this summer and might even need a pickleball skirt?
