Remember a few weeks ago when I shared my Autumn Reading Reflection bonus download?
I create these reflection pieces and share them here because this is a process that I believe deeply in during this phase of my reading life. It may be because I now know, in my 40’s, just how quickly the years pass and how easy it is to mindlessly slip from year to year. The same goes with my reading ~ it’s so easy to just mindlessly slip from one book to another, either following the trends, or just picking up whatever is sitting near us. Those periods of reading, for me, are the least memorable periods. The books I read like this tend to frustrate me or leave me unsatisfied, and given how relatively few books we get to read in our lifetime, this breaks my heart!
