Already Nostalgic For Now
on knowing what you've got before it's gone
As I mentioned previously, my regularly scheduled newsletter comes rain or shine on Saturday mornings, but occasionally I have more to say. Today is one of those special days!
I don’t know what the technical term is for feeling preemptively nostalgic for the current moment, but I can viscerally remember when I felt this way before. In the months before leaving for college when I so desperately wanted to leave but knew my family home would never be my true home again. The weeks leading up to the youngest baby being born and soaking up everything about our family of four. Every single second of that baby’s maternity leave.
