I have been thinking about drinking (and not drinking) much more than usual lately, as Suzanne and I talk (and talk) about her forthcoming book, our own pasts with alcohol, and the stories of the many women in her book. All of our stories are vastly different, but so many of us have a similar tale of alcohol at some point in our lives helping us loosen up and be “more fun”.

That all hit me so hard recently when I decided to listen to a favorite album from my high school years and was absolutely slammed with the memories of alcohol that are inextricably woven in with the music.
